Fruitlogistica is a large fair – 27 halls. Companies are situated by the countries – not by the industry. On December 13 UMDIS took mushroom growers to see mushroom farms in Poland. And also, a cooperative, and equipment suppliers. The trip was organized by UMDIS Mushroom Information Agency. We traveled through the Eastern region of Poland (Siedlce and Losice). This is the region where the most modern and large mushroom farms are located. We were told that the percentage of mushrooms produced in this region in Poland exceeds 60% – but no one dared to guess the percentage exactly.

Compost yard UCADoo in Serbia celebrates its 30 years in the end of 2022 year. It is one of two existing in Serbia compost yards. The share of the market varies, but according to UCADoo it is around 50:50. There is no imported compost in Serbia. ALPIE`s washing machine E-WASH is already working on 40 farms in Europe, Asia and Oceania

One of the most well-known growers from Italy whose name is Oriano Borghi from Funghi Valentina, was observing the cleaning process of one of his growing rooms one day and realized that people were spending too much physical effort doing such work.
