On October 25-26th the HLP-Tag 2022 took place in Uden, Netherlands – that was the event for exotic mushrooms cultivation. According to the organizing committee, more than 130 people met there.
“The HLP-Tag was organised by Ulrich Groos who has founded and leaded the HLP for 28 years. So, the official organiser is the HLP which is an association of exotic mushroom producers represented by Ulrich Groos. He actually stepped back and so the day was moderated by me as I will be the new CEO of the association from the 1th of December”, – tells UMDIS Evelin Krolopp, the new organizer who has a scale plan of event future development.
So, the organizer of HLP-Tag 2022 is Hessian State Section for Mushroom Cultivation (HLP) – mushroom association, which was founded in Hesse, German in 1994 to promote mushrooms. Usually, association hosts a mushroom conference in autumn. UMDIS Mushroom Information Agency knows how it looked like this year.

Dr. Guido Albert spoke about the evidence of bacteria in substrate and their impact to the growth of the mycelium.
“Beside that a lot of different lectures related to exotic mushrooms where held: from illumination and climatization over the problem of residuals in mushrooms and the European norms until the use of used substrate”, – tells UMDIS Evelin Krolopp.
