Eric van Asselt Steps Down as CEO of CNC Group; Hildo Brilleman to Take Over on April 1st

According to CNC, Eric van Asselt, CEO of the CNC Group, has announced his decision to step down. Hildo Brilleman is set to join as the new CEO on April 1st.

With a strong commitment and passion over the last five years, Eric has been instrumental in growing and professionalizing the CNC Group (CNC). Under his leadership, key operational and commercial improvements have been successfully implemented, providing the company with a solid foundation for the future.

Eric, together with the leadership team, developed a strategic plan for substantial growth over the next three years, aiming to establish CNC as a leading player in the European mushroom industry. As part of these discussions, Eric decided to step down as CEO. The owner of CNC, an affiliate of Sun European Partners (Sun), and Eric have therefore jointly decided to look for a new director, with Eric now handing over all current affairs to the CNC Group’s management team.
