2024 Chinese Mushroom Days Cancelled – CFNA

The China Chamber of Commerce of the Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-products (CFNA) has made a decision to cancel the November 2024 Zhangzhou Chinese Mushroom Days. This event, which was originally scheduled to take place in Zhangzhou City from November 17 to 19, 2024, will be merged with the Xiamen International Mushroom Days, set to take place in Xiamen City from April 22 to 24, 2025.

UMDIS Mushroom Agency highlighted the differences and similarities between the April and November events in this post.

Zhangzhou Chinese Mushroom Days had been temporarily suspended until further notice on Nov. 1, 2024, and we now know this year’s event won’t happen. According to CFNA, this decision was driven by temporary adjustments to the event site and a severe shortage of preparation time, making it unfeasible to hold the event as planned.
