UCADoo compost yard has 30 years anniversary. Family business in Serbia

Compost yard UCADoo in Serbia celebrates its 30 years in the end of 2022 year. It is one of two existing in Serbia compost yards. The share of the market varies, but according to UCADoo it is around 50:50. There is no imported compost in Serbia. Vice versa – UCADoo exports compost to all post-Yugoslavian countries (i.e. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia).Recently compost yard UCADoo organized a great celebration of plant`s 30-year anniversary. UMDIS agency asked the owner of UCADoo to tell about the company history.

– My father Novica started in 80s the production of mushrooms, – tells Dragan Novakovic. – And after 5-6 years he decided to start also compost production. All family has been involved in company from the beginning and also, we have people who work with us 20 years.

Novica started UCADoo in October 1992. The founder died in 2014 – and his children now successfully continue his business.
