This post is also available in: English Russian Polish

UMDIS Mushroom Agency asked two people in Germany to send us the photos of mushroom prices in different supermarkets in end of May – June.

Germany is one of the largest consumers of mushrooms in EU. This country has number of domestic farms – as well they import mushrooms mostly from Poland. German mushroom producers take the advantage of promotion domestic products` consumption in Germany, doing lots of work to talk with German consumers.

In Germany there is the project going on – on the development of casing without peat. UMDIS Mushroom Agency wrote about it. As well mushroom producers can receive money from government for innovations – which are used for tilting shelves implementation for example.
