Chinese Mushroom Days and market from American perspective. Comment by Chris Alonzo

Chris Alonzo, President of modern American mushroom farm Pietro visited Chinese Mushroom Days this month.

Chris decided to share his opinion about Chinese Conference and mushroom market in China with UMDIS. His American perspective is showing it from another point of view – then European view which we published before.

– The Chinese conference was well attended. The energy was very high. That agaricus industry is still growing, â€“ tells Chris. â€“ After 10 years of Dutch style growing in China, there is a good depth of knowledge among all the farms. There is still a need for international collaboration on many levels, such as technology, raw materials, and disease control.
