Agro-Projects – expert in mushroom projects

Agro-Projects is an organization that runs investments in the mushroom industry all over the world.  Our engineers have over a decade of experience in technology and construction, gained during the implementation of various investments. We specialize in the implementation of facilities for the industrial cultivation of button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms and exotic mushrooms, as well as the design and construction of facilities to produce compost or substrate on which they grow.

Industry activities span across almost all continents.

Currently our company operates on 5 continents, building modern farms and supplying equipment to facilities located in completely different climate zones. From very cold and dry regions, where winter temperatures reach -40 degrees C to hot zones with very humid climates and temperatures exceeding +40 C. Among Agro-Projects’ clients right now there are companies from the US, France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Eastern Europe, Kazakhstan, India, Greece or Hungary. We are experienced in implementing projects in exotic locations as well – such as the Reunion Island located on the Indian Ocean.

From concept to comprehensive implementation

At Agro-Projects we help new clients build a business from scratch, while for clients with experience in the industry we offer a range of effective and modern technological solutions to improve their production. It includes both comprehensive implementation of the entire facility or a selected part of the construction, to the scope indicated by the investor. We select and manufacture a full set of modern, efficient, and energy-saving machines for filling compost and substrate, equipment for mushrooms growing, as well as preparing and maintaining appropriate climate conditions inside the facilities.

At the early stage of cooperation with the investor, the needs and requirements for the usage, technology and distribution of the facility are discussed in great detail, taking into account the different local-climatic conditions for various locations. All aspects related to the operation of the facility dedicated to the production of a suitable substrate are optimized. Further, after a pre-concept is developed, documentation for obtaining a building permit is prepared, including among others architectural, structural, electrical or sanitary projects.

In many cases, we also deal with cost estimation or support of the business plan of the investment. Based on the necessary input data, initial costs are calculated, but also what is most important for the owner, i.e. the parameters of return on investment and the profitability of production itself. The analyses are carried out by our specialists tailored to the location where the project is planned to be launched.

Technological equipment for competitive advantage

In today’s era of fierce competition and the battle for customers, modern, practical, optimized, and durable technological equipment is the foundation of functioning for both newly built and modernized facilities intended for mushroom cultivation and substrate production. Professional and effective equipment also influences the profitability of the project by offering investors benefits such as:

  • Energy and utility savings are possible through the use of efficient heating and cooling systems, including heat recovery or air- and ground-source heat pumps.
  • Operational costs can be reduced by decreasing the number of workers, which can be achieved, for example, by increasing harvesting speed and convenience through the usage of modern picking lorries.
  • More optimal and efficient control, irrigation and humidification systems not only translates to quantity but also to product quality.
  • The use of industry-specific, optimized rapid cooling shockers offers fast cooling along with reduced shrinkage compared to other popular systems.
  • Using modern machinery for filling and emptying compost from growing rooms provides greater convenience during work, offering improved loading quality and reduced operating time.

Agro-Projects offers technologically optimized equipment tailored to the stringent requirements in growing rooms and facilities for substrate and compost production. The high quality of the provided equipment translates into product quality and work convenience, confirming the enduring relationships the company builds with clients. After their initial collaboration, clients often continue working with us for many years to come.
