Mushrooms are sold in the airport of Warsaw

In the airport of Warsaw, capital of Poland lots of mushrooms are being sold. Poland is the country where there is a culture of mushroom picking in forests. And this country now is the leading cultivated mushroom producer in Europe.

So in the souvenir shop in duty free zone in Polish airport – mushrooms look quite natural.

From 60 to 180 Polish zl per kg (14-42 Euro) is the price on different kinds of marinated mushrooms.

From 716 to 800 Polish zl per kg (167-187 Euro) is the price for dried mushrooms.

Mushrooms present in the Duty Free zone is definitely a good thing in terms of mushroom promotion in general. It shows that mushrooms are something special which can be a souvenir, a gift.
