Exotic Mushroom Center is the largest shiitake producer and substrate reseller in Poland

Last year, the market of exotic mushrooms in Europe grew few procent, – says Piotr Rubacha, sells manager of the Exotic Mushroom Center, the largest Polish company producing shiitake. It is European subsidiary company of Qihebiotech, a biggest Chinese producer of substrate for the cultivation of exotic mushrooms- especially shiitake.

Yurii Malanyk’s mushroom farm is located in the Lviv region in the West of Ukraine and has been operating since 2009. It has 12 growing rooms with 18 tons of compost loading. The official name of the company is SOVITA PLUS. The director there is Yurii’s wife, Ms. Maryana. This week, March 6-8, the second group of UMDIS studied at the UMDIS Polish Mushroom Picking School. We learned out how to pick 1, 2, 3 flashes, how to make separation, how to work correctly with in between flush mushrooms. We understood how to motivate pickers and what to do to avoid lack of them. All this – to make the farms of our participants consistently pick more kilograms from their growing areas.
