Description of the drug

Virocid is a professional foam disinfectant with a pronounced bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal effect. The product is designed for effective sanitation of mushroom chambers, equipment and production surfaces.

The combination of quaternary ammonium compounds, isopropanol and cedar oil provides rapid destruction of cell membranes of microorganisms, including bacteria (including spore-forming forms), viruses, fungi, molds and yeasts.

Thanks to its foamy form, the product stays on the surface longer, which increases contact time and disinfection efficiency even on vertical and difficult surfaces.

– disinfection of mushroom chambers before loading compost;
– surface treatment before applying cover soil;
– sanitizing walls, floors, shelves and ventilation systems;
– disinfection of equipment, tools, boxes and containers;

Norms and methods of application

Disinfection of growing chambers

– 0.5-1 l of Virocid per 100 l of water
– surface treatment before loading compost and cover soil

Handling tools and inventory

– pre-washing: 2% detergent solution – 10 min
– disinfection: 0.5-1% solution, immersion until completely covered

Barriers and mats

– 1-3% solution
– to enhance the effect, it is possible to add salt (10-15%) or calcium chloride

Surface treatment

– method: irrigation, wiping or foam generator
– consumption: 1 liter of working solution per 4 m²

Volumetric disinfection of premises

– 5% solution
– consumption: 20 ml/m³

Features of use

Before use, thoroughly clean the surfaces from organic contaminants. Disinfection is carried out only on pre-washed and prepared surfaces – this critically increases the effectiveness of the product.

The working solutions are applied by spraying, foam disinfection, wiping or through a foam generator. The special foam provides a long-lasting effect even on vertical surfaces.
