Sporgon 50 WP is a professional fungicide for mushroom farms, which is used to protect mushrooms from the most common fungal diseases: dry rot (Verticillium fungicola) and wet rot (Mycogone perniciosa). The active ingredient, prochloraz, belongs to the imidazole group and disrupts sterol synthesis in pathogenic fungal cells, which leads to the cessation of their growth and development. The product creates a protective barrier in the top layer of the covering soil and protects the mycelium of champignon mushrooms from infection by pathogenic fungi. Due to its contact-systemic action, Sporgon provides a long-lasting fungicidal effect and is widely used in professional mushroom growing both for prevention and at the first signs of infection.

Application time:

  • On the 3-5th day of watering, when the mycelium has already partially penetrated the cover soil
  • After loosening (if carried out), but not before it – loosening after treatment reduces efficiency

Application rates:

  • For preventive maintenance: 60-100 g per 100 m²
  • For moderate infestation: 120-170 g per 100 m²
  • Maximum dose (with a high infectious background): 260-300 g per 100 m²
  • Fractional application: 60 + 60 g in two stages per 100 m²

Methods of preparation and application:

  1. Dissolve the required amount of the preparation in a 20-liter bucket of clean (preferably warm to 35 °C) water.
  2. Stir thoroughly until completely dissolved.
  3. Pour the resulting suspension into a barrel of water and mix well.

Finishing options:

  • The last watering of the cover soil: 2-3 g/l of water, 1 l/m²
  • On the day of loosening: 200-300 g per 100 l of water, 1 l/m² after loosening
  • In the presence of infection:
    • Before the first wave of fruiting: 50-60 g per 100 l of water, 1 l/m²
    • After the first wave: 50-60 g per 100 l of water, 1 l/m²
  • In the absence of an infectious background: 150-250 g per 100 l of water, 1 l/m²
  • In case of high infectious background: 3-4 g/l of water, 1 l/m²
  • Process only the mushroom shelf. Do not handle containers, tools, boxes and equipment – use disinfectants for this purpose. Sporgon is a film-forming fungicide, so it is important to avoid mechanical damage to the covering layer after treatment

Application and purpose:

– prevention of dry rot of mushrooms (Verticillium);
– control of wet rot of mushrooms (Mycogone);
– inhibition of pathogenic fungi in the cover soil;
– protection of mushroom mycelium;
– preventive treatments of mushroom chambers;
– treatment of the cover layer during mushroom cultivation;
– use in professional mushroom farms.

Compatibility:

Sporgon is compatible with most fungicides, insecticides and acaricides, except for those with an alkaline reaction. A compatibility test is recommended before mixing.
