Purpose:

– control of mushroom flies (Phoridae)
– control of mushroom mosquitoes (Sciaridae)
– treatment of mushroom chambers, corridors and technical premises
– reduction of flying pests in closed mushroom complexes

How it works:

The checker produces insecticidal smoke during smoldering, which evenly fills the room volume. The active ingredients penetrate into hard-to-reach areas, ensuring contact with adult forms of flying pests. The advantage of this method of treatment is that the insecticidal smoke evenly fills the entire volume of the room and penetrates into hard-to-reach areas – cracks, ventilation ducts, joints of structures and hidden surfaces where pests can accumulate.

Consumption rate and method of application:

– 20 ml of insecticide per 1 checker (applied to a special hole 2-3 times)
– 3-4 checkers per chamber with a volume of ~20 tons
– checkers are placed evenly over the area of the room

Processing procedure:

– close the room hermetically (without fresh air supply)
– turn on the ventilation in recirculation mode
– leave the lights on
– pre-treat doors, ventilation grilles and possible insect exit areas with insecticide
– start placing checkers from the farthest point of the room
– after ignition, ensure smoldering (no open flame)
– after launching all checkers, immediately leave the room and close it tightly

Features of application:

– treatment should be carried out 3-4 days before the beginning of the fruiting wave
– possible use in the inter-wave period
– do not use during fungal growth – darkening of fruit bodies is possible
– use during active fruiting is prohibited

Limitations and effectiveness:

– does not affect eggs and pupae
– for a stable result, simultaneous treatment of all chambers of the farm is recommended
– the highest effect is achieved as part of a comprehensive pest control system

Re-processing:

If pest activity persists, repeat the treatment after 24 hours.
