Nurel D is a powerful combination insecticide for the destruction of a wide range of pests, including mushroom flies (Sciaridae), mosquitoes, sciarids, and gall midges. It is used in mushroom growing, agriculture, as well as for the treatment of warehouses.

Mechanism of action

The drug combines the effects of two chemical classes:

• Organophosphorus compounds (chlorpyrifos)
• Pyrethroids (cypermethrin)

This ensures a synergistic effect and high efficiency against pests at all stages of development (egg, larva, adult).

The drug penetrates into plant tissues, creating an active zone of action in the intercellular space, without complete systemic distribution.

Application in mushroom growing

Purpose: control of mushroom flies, mosquitoes, sciarids and gall flies.
Consumption rate:

• 200-300 g of the preparation per 100 liters of water
• Treat the premises during the period of pest activity

Other areas of application

• Finishing of warehouse and warehouse premises
• Protecting grain stocks during storage

Features of sciarids and their control

Mushroom mosquitoes (Sciaridae) are an ancient and poorly understood group of dipterans. Their larvae live in soil or compost and feed on organic residues. The insects can easily repopulate a room if there are conditions for their development.
Important: Effective control involves the regular use of insecticides at all stages of insect development.

• Nurel D is not a systemic preparation, but it quickly penetrates into plant tissues and provides local action
• It is recommended to combine with larvicidal preparations (e.g. Larvenol) for complete destruction of all stages of the pest
