Mechanism of action

Nomolt acts as an inhibitor of chitin synthesis. The active ingredient blocks the formation of the outer cover of insects in the process of molting. The larvae cannot move to the next stage of development and die. The drug also affects insect eggs, inhibiting the development of embryos and reducing the emergence of new generations of pests.

Application in mushroom growing

Nomolt is used in mushroom farms to control the larvae of mushroom flies and mushroom mosquitoes in the cover layer.

Application method:
watering the coating layer with the working solution.

Recommended application rate

– 3 ml of the preparation per 1 liter of water;
– working solution: 250-350 ml of the product per 100 liters of water;
– working solution consumption: 1 liter per 1 m² of surface.

For maximum effectiveness, the product is recommended to be used in the early stages of pest development.

Features of use

The working solution is prepared immediately before use by adding the product to water with thorough mixing. It is recommended to apply the treatment evenly over the surface of the coating layer.

For comprehensive control of mushroom flies, it is recommended to combine Nomolt with contact insecticides against adult flying individuals.
