Purpose:
A device for measuring air temperature and humidity at mushroom complexes. Optimal operating range: -20°C to +40°C.
Description:
The hygrometer consists of a plastic base on which two thermometers (dry and wet), a psychrometric table, and a glass feeder are mounted. The reservoir of the “wet” thermometer is moistened with water through a batiste or chiffon wick.
How it works:
The relative humidity is determined by the difference between the readings of the “dry” and “wet” thermometers (psychrometric difference) using a table. For an accurate determination, it is necessary to take readings from both thermometers and calculate the humidity using the psychrometric table.
