Fastak is a professional insecticide of the pyrethroid group with a pronounced contact and intestinal action. The active ingredient alpha-cypermethrin affects the nervous system of insects, causing rapid paralysis and death of pests. The product is actively used in mushroom growing to control mushroom flies and sciarids that damage the substrate and promote the spread of infections in mushroom chambers. Due to its high efficiency even in low concentrations, Fastak is widely used both in professional mushroom farms and in crop production.

Consumption rate of the drug in mushroom production:

For surface treatment
1-2 ml of the preparation per 1 liter of water
Working solution consumption – 1 liter per 10 m² of surface

Application rate by area
0.1-0.2 ml of the product per 1 m² of surface

For use with smoke bombs
20 ml of the drug per 1 smoke bomb

Consumption rate of the drug in crop production:

Working solution
1-3 ml of the drug per 10 liters of water

Maximum number of treatments:
– potatoes and grapes – 2 treatments;
– other crops – 1 treatment.

Waiting period before harvest:
– potatoes, green peas – 20 days;
– other crops – 30 days.

Consumption rates for crops:

– Peas, peas – aphids, grain beetles, moths – 1 ml per 10 liters of water – treatment at the beginning of flowering;
– Grapes – leafhoppers, phylloxera – 3 ml per 10 liters of water – treatment during the growing season;
– Potatoes – Colorado potato beetle – 1 ml per 10 liters of water – treatment during the growing season;
– Rose hips – weevils – 3 ml per 10 liters of water – treatment at the beginning of budding.

Features of use:

The working solution is prepared immediately before use. Spraying is carried out in dry, calm weather in the morning or evening hours when the first pests appear. During the treatment, it is necessary to ensure uniform coverage of surfaces, leaves and stems with the working solution.

In mushroom growing, the product is used to treat mushroom chambers, technical rooms, growing areas and surfaces to control mushroom flies and sciarids. Re-infection cannot be completely excluded, so regular preventive treatment of the premises is recommended.

Fastak is not compatible with alkaline solutions. It is forbidden to mix the preparation with other products in private households. The working solution should not be stored and used immediately after preparation.

Features of action against mushroom flies (Sciaridae):

Fastak is widely used to control mushroom mosquitoes and flies (sciarids) that lay their eggs in moist substrate. The larvae damage the mycelium and create favorable conditions for the development of infections. The product effectively destroys adults during contact treatment of premises and helps to reduce the number of pests in mushroom chambers.

For comprehensive control of sciarids, it is recommended to combine contact insecticides (Fastak, Decis, Actellik, Nurel D) with drugs that block larval development (Dimilin, Nomolt).

Security features:

Do not apply during flowering.
Do not use in the rain or during precipitation.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Wear gloves, a mask, and other personal protective equipment.
Wash your hands and exposed skin thoroughly after work.
Do not store the working solution.
Store the drug in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place.
