Desmark is a highly effective disinfectant based on polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride (PHMG-HC), designed for sanitizing mushroom chambers, production facilities, equipment and inventory. The product has a pronounced bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal effect, effectively disinfects surfaces and provides a long-lasting protective effect. The product is used in mushroom growing, food industry, agriculture, livestock, poultry, catering establishments, medical institutions, transport and other facilities where a high level of disinfection is required.

Consumption rates of the drug:

For mushroom growing

Treatment of growing chambers, equipment and disinfectants
100 g of the preparation per 10 liters of water

For containers (polymer, glass, metal)

0.01% solution – treatment for 5-10 minutes

To kill E. coli

0.1% solution – holding time 15-60 minutes at 30-60 °C

Against fungal infection

20-30% solution – holding time 30-120 min at 30-60 °C

Features of use:

Before disinfection, the surfaces must be cleaned of dirt and organic residues and rinsed with water. The working solution is applied by spraying, manual processing with a sponge or brush, as well as using a circulation system or sprayers.

In mushroom growing, the drug is used for:

• spraying mushroom chambers;
• processing of compost briquettes before opening the film;
• disinfecting knives, tools and equipment;
• filling disinfectant mats.

Unused working solution can be stored for up to 3 months in a hermetically sealed plastic container.
