Mushroom prices in Poland in May

UMDIS monitored prices on mushrooms in one of Polish supermarkets.

Poland is the largest button mushrooms producer in Europe.

In Poland mushrooms are produced for domestic market – as well to be exported to UK, Germany, and other countries.

The prices on mushrooms

500 gr – 7.49 zl (1.76 Euro) – 3.52 Euro per kg – white button mushroom

250 gr – 5.59zl (1.31 Euro) – 5.24 Euro per kg – baby white button mushroom

250 gr – 5.69 zl (1.33 Euro) – 5.32 Euro per kg – oyster mushroom

Additionally – in the shop are number of mushroom containing products.

Like appetiser – oyster mushrooms in mustard souse – 0.91 Euro – 100 gr – 35% of marinated oyster mushrooms the appetiser contains.

Or Vegetable cutlets ala fish – contains 7% of oyster mushrooms.
