Mushroom prices in Hungary in July

UMDIS Mushroom Agency visited Hungary – and monitored prices on mushrooms in this country.

In Hungary are two large mushroom producers operating – Bio Fungi and Korona – and number of smaller ones.

The quality of mushrooms that UMDIS has seen in this Hungarian supermarket was not the best (of course we take into account that it is summer). Hovewer what was really the best – is how mushrooms are present. It means a special fridge devoted to mushrooms with branding. It fulfills the marketing purpose very well.
