In Georgia: what are the prices for oyster mushrooms and champignons?

Prices for mushrooms in Georgia are now at the level of 3-5 dollars per kilogram – this is the first price from the farm. The price of oyster mushrooms is 3 dollars. For oyster mushrooms, this is the most typical price in this country, although it sometimes drops or rises to 4 dollars per kilogram.According to one of the producers of oyster mushrooms, its production cost is near 1 dollar.

UMDIS reminds: in Georgia oyster mushrooms are popular as well as champignon mushrooms, in the country there are several large oyster producers and a large number of small. Due to this structure of production in the market there is sometimes a shortage of oyster mushrooms in periods when it is not supplied to the market by small farms – this increases the price.
