Dutch Mushroom Projects BV, the Dutch general contractor as well supplier of equipment, control computers for mushroom business, recently finished a new mushroom project in Austria.

Approximately 2 years ago Frutura Obst & Gemüse Kompetenzzentrum GmbH decided to invest in mushroom farming. During 2023 DMP designed and built the growing project with special climate systems, VEC41 computers and lots of other equipment from DMP. The VEC 41 is an independent controller for bunkers, tunnels, growing rooms, central unit, etc.

“We are greatfull Frutura chose to work with DMP for their organic mushroom project, from engineering till startup”, – says Ron Hegger from Dutch Mushroom Projects.

The family-run Austrian fruit and vegetable producer has expanded their product range to include a regional specialty; brown and white organic mushrooms. Production started in February this year. The organic quality ensures that the mushrooms have a special taste, and the resource-saving original production is unique in all of Austria. The new brown organic mushrooms are available in all SPAR stores in Steiermark region now.

Dutch Mushroom Projects (DMP) – is a highly specialized turn-key supplier to the mushroom industry.
