Why Mush Comb?

The father-owner Matthew Holtermans used to have a mushroom farm in ‘70s till ’90s. In 1998 he started to sell used Dutch equipment. Of course it was cheaper than a new one. And in Mush Comb they started to work on producing machines which will be durable – but not so expensive as usually new machines are. So, they gave mushroom farmers an option – to older old, or just a bit more expensive new one. In 2008 Mush Comb developed the first premium headfilling machine, also they are the first company starting to offer casing separator. The first big casing separator has been build in 2012 to a Dutch customer.  From that time in Mush Comb started to produce wide range of equipment – Now Mush Comb supplies 95% of new equipment.

Client's testimonial

Champas, Netherlands

Product: head filling machine

A complete machine. Hydraulically and wirelessly controllable, so you can easily set it up in front of the rack. The compost and casing soil are nicely spread over the top filler so that you get a perfect layer for the mushrooms. Everything can be controlled automatically, and you have little work with it. Very satisfied with the Headfilling machine, which saves us a lot of time and does not have to spend a lot of money on an external head filler!

Vandechamp, Belgium

Product: Compact picking lorries

The mobility of this lorry is enormous. With 1 person you can control the lorry. You drive the lorry smoothly from one cell to the other and then hang the lorry effortlessly on the rail. Once the lorry is hanging, you can easily go up and down via the control panel. You only need 1 person for the lorry, which makes a huge difference in personnel compared to the older lorries. Safety is reflected in this trolley. This has been well thought out. We are very satisfied with these lorries. It saves us manpower and the staff are also very satisfied. Only praise! We have ordered another 12 lorries.
