In Uzbekistan, at the end of the summer, mushroom prices decreased compared to the beginning. This is caused by an increase in supply, which in its turn is caused by the return into the market of a significant number of small mushroom farms.
“There are many small growers. I don’t know how to continue working,” a mushroom grower from Tashkent shares with UMDIS.Now farm prices are at the level of 3 dollars per kilogram of mushroom. Prices vary significantly from market to market. They are from 4 to 5 dollars per kilogram of mushrooms.
We remind you that at the end of July, the UMDIS agency wrote about the specifics of the mushroom market in Uzbekistan, where the situation is highly dependent on small producers.
