FUNGI TEAM P&P Rymuza Spółka Komandytowa is a modern commercial mushroom farm located in Kowiesy, Poland (Fungi Team, Siedlecka, 08-311). Founded in 2022, the farm produces over 400 tons of high-quality Agaricus mushrooms each month across 24 growing rooms of 720 m² each. At FUNGI TEAM, you can observe the latest mushroom cultivation equipment and button mushrooms at different stages.
Agro-Projects, a company that has built many mushroom production facilities and supplies equipment for mushroom farms, is a long-term partner of UMDIS, supporting us in the development of our products.
Soon, UMDIS will hold courses on mushroom cultivation and harvesting at FUNGI TEAM, and we would like to introduce you to Agro-Projects’s equipment, which you will be able to see on the farm.
Filling set: Hercules, Hermes, Achilles, and Atlas.

Hercules – This machine’s purpose is to mechanically fill substrate and casing onto growing shelving at mushroom farms. It is a premium product, which minimizes the effort of those working in filling. The applied solutions allow reducing its operation to the necessary minimum – both during the work and maintenance activities.
Hermes – This machine is intended for mechanical transport of compost or casing to filling machines Hercules and Hector. The belt conveyor, as well as the other machines, is controlled by the headfiller to which Hermes is connected.
Atlas – The machine is designed to work in a technological line with Hermes belt conveyor and Hercules or Hector combine for compost loading. The purpose of the machine is to transfer the required amount of compost to the conveyor belt. Filling the machine’s hopper with compost takes place using a dedicated trailer with a moving floor.
Achilles – This machine is used for pulling growing nets with substrate and casing onto the growing shelving. It is equipped with swiveling wheels, allowing it to move effortlessly around the facility. The speed of the machine is adjusted to the speed of the other machines in the technological line.
Picking lorries – LGE on geared racks.

Electric picking lorry on geared racks (nitrogen-carbonate coated). It eliminates the use of steel cables and cable guide wheels. This solution lowers the frequency of inspections in order to maintain the service life of the lorry. It is operated by an electric motor coupled with a worm gear and a gear axle placed under the platform. The device is equipped with a controller with the so-called „soft start” function, which limits inrush currents and allows smooth operation in both vertical and horizontal directions. All electrical components are easily detachable, allowing the cart to remain in the chamber during the steaming process. A lowered platform provides the ability to pick from the first shelf, and it is possible to install an additional LED lamp to make picking more comfortable.
Emptying set: Parys and Nestor.

Nestor – the belt conveyor is designed to mechanically load spent mushroom substrate and casing onto a semi-trailer. It works together with the Parys multi-axle pulling winch after the mushroom growing cycle has ended.
Parys – the machine is designed to mechanically unload substrate and casing from the growing shelving after the mushroom growing cycle has ended. The substrate and casing unloading is conducted with a Nestor transporter. The suspension system consists of 4 swiveling wheels, 2 of them are equipped with a brake.
All this equipment will be working during the course. Both trainings will begin with a general tour of the farm, where participants can see all equipment used in daily production.
