From 9 to 12 March 2020, UMDIS organized a four-day Introductory Course on Button Mushroom Growing at the Yabluniv Production Complex (YAVK) in Ukraine. The course was intended for beginners and those planning to start mushroom farming but was also valuable for specialists seeking to understand industrial processes. Training combined lectures with practical sessions in production rooms, covering the entire cycle from compost incubation to harvesting and disease control. The program was delivered by experienced trainers Natalia Ilchuk, Volodymyr Polianchuk, Maksym Yenchenko, Lina Turovska, and Mykola Davydenko.
