From 3 to 6 June 2019, UMDIS Mushroom Information Agency organized the 4-day training course “Introductory Course on Button Mushroom Growing” at the Yabluniv Production Complex (YAVK) in Ukraine. The program was designed for beginners and those planning to start mushroom farming, while also being useful for specialists working in related fields. The training combined lectures with practical sessions in production rooms, covering all stages of mushroom cultivation from compost incubation to harvesting. Topics included equipment, climate control, casing soil, watering, pinning, crop flushes, harvesting, and disease management. The course was delivered by experienced trainers Maksym Yenchenko, Roman Stolper, and Natalia Ilchuk.
