Day 1

Mycelium Run & Watering

  • Meeting at the farm & First farm walk: Touch, observe, analyze.
  • Rooms before airing: How and when to start.
  • Pinning stage: Strategy for managing next week’s first flush.
  • Overview: Picking rooms and correct computer settings.
  • Presentations, detailed discussion, and Q&A: "Case-run and watering schedules".
Day 2

Climate & First Flush

  • Morning farm walk: Checking the influence of changed climate settings.
  • Climate control: Creating a quality climate during picking and how to effectively improve evaporation during picking.
  • Presentations: "Ventilation, getting a quality first flush, and managing subsequent flushes".
  • Second practical farm walk.
Day 3

Hygiene & Preparation

  • Morning farm walk: Do we have the correct setup for next week?
  • End of the flush: Actions at the end of the flush and preparation for watering.
  • Presentations: "Proper room filling and hygiene standards on the farm".
  • Final farm walk.
  • Wrap-up: Course Summary and UMDIS Certificate Ceremony.
